Pedagogy Conference

To celebrate the publication of Power Up Your Questioning, the new book by Bruce Robertson, a Power Up Your Pedagogy Conference is being held for teachers and school leaders at the Hilton Doubletree, Edinburgh Airport, on Friday 28th February 2025.

The day will be led by Bruce Robertson, the author of ‘The Teaching Delusion’ trilogy and 'Power Up' series, published by John Catt Educational. Themes covered will include:

  • The science of learning

  • Questioning

  • Feedback

  • Differentiation

  • Formative assessment

  • Student-led learning

  • Inclusive pedagogy

  • ...and more!

Further details:

  • The conference is aimed at teachers and school leaders in both primary and secondary sectors.

  • Delegates should arrive from 9am onwards for a 9:30am start. The conference finishes at 2:30pm.

  • Each ticket includes tea/coffee on arrival, lunch and a signed copy of Power Up Your Questioning.

  • Delegates will receive a PDF copy of the slides following the event.

  • Delegate parking is £5 per day and £16 overnight.
